-The Descorchados Guide is today one of the most relevant wine publications in South America. It's edited by the most renowned Chilean wine writer Patricio Tapia, who first published Descorchados in 1999 in Chile with the intention of portraying the energy of change that was brewing in the neighbouring country, in terms of new grape varieties, new areas and new interpretations. Today, the wine tasting has expanded its horizons to cover the most important wines from Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay, the four key wine producing countries in South America.
