QARAMY means POETRY in the ancient Quechua language, a native South American language spoken primarily in the Andes. We chose this name because it symbolises our winery's expression of loyalty, tradition and commitment to high altitude terroir driven wines. Our Qaramy wines are born from a SINGLE VINEYARD located in IG:Los Árboles, at the foot of the majestic Andes Mountains at an altitude of over 1,100 m above sea level, at one of the higher spots in the Uco Valley region, Mendoza province. It is here, where the dry and stony soils, the wide temperature range, and the high sun exposure offer our grapes a unique strength and personality, which gives rise to this beautiful wine collection. KARIM, together with his winemaking and viticulture team, chose this specific site to express all the potential, diversity and uniqueness that can be obtained from a singular spot.
